Our Preserves As Outdoor Classrooms

Lewisboro Land Trust is proud of it’s longtime partnership and collaboration with the Katonah-Lewisboro schools.

We are proud to partner with many schools in the area, including Meadow Pond Elementary, Increase Miller Elementary, Rippowam Cisqua, John Jay Middle and John Jay High School. Our programs include “Budding Naturalists,” a three-season discovery program at Meadow Pond, nature programs with other area elementary schools, and participation in the JJHS Senior Intern Project and the JJHS Scholarship Awards program. We also host toddler hikes on First Friday, and numerous creative family programs targeting school-age kids and hosted by our Family Program Coordinator, Shantala DuGay-Iyengar.
